Alice In Wonderland rehearsals are in full swing in preparation for performances May 8, 19 & 10 at Fayetteville High School Theatre!
This Arts Live Theatre adaptation is under the direction of ALT teaching artist Jules Taylor who has directed the past ALT productions of The Secret Garden, The Emperor's New Clothes and James and the Giant Peach, and co-directed High School Musical, Seussical and Schoolhouse Rock, Live! She also appeared onstage in the ALT mentor productions of Holes and Christmas Carol High School.
In this adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, Alice, played by Mary Taylor Hesterberg, encounters a host of familiar characters with, perhaps, unfamiliar attitudes. There's a crotchedy Cheshire Cat, (Zach Stolz), a talking door obsessed with knock-knock jokes, (Sarah Hierholzer), a really cool caterpillar, (Serena Caffrey) and a group of gossiping, showgirl flowers!
